About Exhibix

Everything Exhibix does, from upload to the courtroom

Exhibix is a browser-based workspace for preparing trial documents. Upload a case's documents once, and everything that has to happen before those documents reach a courtroom — numbering, stamping, stickering, redacting, and the exhibit list itself — happens in one place, in one pass.

Step 1 · Organize

Upload and organize the whole case

Drag in PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, and images. Exhibix converts Office documents to PDF automatically, detects document types, and lets you arrange everything into the order your exhibit sequence will follow.

Step 2 · Stamp

Bates numbering and confidentiality stamps

Apply continuous Bates numbers across the entire set — custom prefix, separator, digit count, position, font, and color. Exhibix detects documents that already carry Bates stamps so a set is never accidentally double-numbered, and can add a page border so stamps never cover content.

Confidentiality stamps ride along in the same pass: CONFIDENTIAL, ATTORNEY EYES ONLY, SUBJECT TO PROTECTIVE ORDER, and other presets — or your own custom text — positioned independently of the Bates number.

Step 3 · Sticker

Evidence stickers formatted for your court

When exhibits need the court's official label, Exhibix applies evidence stickers in the format your jurisdiction expects — placed by drag-and-drop, with per-document position memory, and color-coded by party.

Step 4 · Review & Redact

Preview, rotate, and truly redact

Every document opens in a full preview with its own toolbar — page navigation, zoom, rotate (saved to the file, not just the view), print, and download. Sideways scans are fixed in one click, individually or in bulk.

Redaction happens right on the preview. Draw boxes over anything that shouldn't reach the courtroom — attorney notes, privileged passages, personal data — or type a name or number and Mark All finds every occurrence across every page. Choose black (a visible, standard redaction) or white (a clean erase, for removing your own annotations from an exhibit copy).

This is true redaction, not a cover-up: on Apply, each affected page is flattened so the content underneath is permanently destroyed and unrecoverable — while untouched pages keep their searchable text. A black box drawn in an ordinary PDF editor leaves the text underneath intact; Exhibix does not.

Step 5 · File

The exhibit list, in your court's format

The exhibit list is what actually gets filed — and it generates itself from the same data that stamped the documents, so names, numbers, and Bates ranges can never drift out of sync. Export to Word, Excel, or PDF.
